This beautiful day started at the bride's parents house in Mayfield and moved on to Mayfield church and then to Swallows Oast in Ticehurst.

Chloe & David are getting married at Rye church this December - just 2 days before Christmas day. As their's will be a Christmas wedding, we thought it a great idea to use Rye at this time of year to get the summer feel of the place. The church at Rye and its surrounding courtyard and cobbled streets gave us many opportunities for great portrait photography, as did Ypres tower with its canons and the view point which also provided an excellent backdrop for the couple shoot.

Using Camber Sands for the second hour of the shoot gave us the perfect contrast which enabled us to get a whole different look to the engagement shoot. The sandy beach ay Camber sands is well known for photography by the sea but as well as being good for landscape photography, it is very well suited to impressive engagement shoots and portraiture photography with that sea side feel.

Another beautiful wedding at Westerham Golf Club

This was another wedding for me at Westerham Golf Club, which is always a joy. Lots of open space in a gorgeous country setting makes for lovely photos and 2 golf buggies gave us the freedom to explore it, while the lake offers that that sought after reflection shot of the wedding couple.

The wedding itself was at Westerham Parish Church formally, St Mary the Virgin on the green in Westerham. The church dates back to the 14th century and is very beautiful.
